What exactly do you do?

  • Can you provide my child or family with therapy sessions?

As much as I love clinical work, no. I do see children for short-term therapy (individual and group) within school settings only.

  • Can you help my family navigate a tough situation at school?

Possibly yes, after discussing the logistics.

  • Will you help our school with counseling, parent talks, teacher consultation, behavioral interventions in the classroom, and much more?

    Yes!

  • My child is going through a tough time (behaviorally, socially, or academically)… can you help guide us?

Yes! Happy to chat further and see if I would be a good fit.

  • Do you consult with parents and schools in-person or virtually?

Both. I prefer in-person for those in the Northern NJ & NYC area, but happy to speak virtually.

  • Our teachers are frustrated and exhausted with behavioral challenges. Help?

Yes. Often times this is a systemic consultation which involves building rapport with teachers and starting with classroom observations.

  • Our child’s teacher feels they need to be “tested” - we don’t know where to start or what this could mean. Can you help?

Absolutely. Interpreting evaluations for parents and educators, and practical interventions for the classroom and home, are definitely part of what I do.
